About the Pre-Summit
- What it is: A 5-day global gathering of 500+ stakeholders to shape civil society’s input ahead of the Second World Summit in Qatar.
- Why it matters: Feeds into the official UN summit negotiation process and strengthens civil society’s voice.
- Who it’s for: NGOs, CSOs, youth groups, Indigenous representatives, private sector, academia, policymakers, and more.
- Organized in alignment with UN Resolution 78/261 and Decisions 7–10 of the UNGA 78/318.
Summit Details
- Location: The Rogers Convention Centre, Ottawa, Canada
- Dates: August 25–29, 2025
- Cost: Early registration $350.00 USD (until August 1, 2025). Late registration $450.00 USD. Limited scholarships and financial assistance are available. For more information, please email us at wajiri@ngocsocd.org.

- Draft a unified position paper for presentation at the UN Summit
