The subcommittee convenes to prepare draft statements on current events or about the theme of the Commission and prepare talking points and position papers to be shared with the UN system and Member States. The NGO -Coalition members provide policy recommendations and advocate for specific social development issues, influencing the committee’s agenda and discussions. They submit written statements and oral presentations during the sessions, offering insights and perspectives based on their grassroots work and expertise.
