The Subcommittee promotes the inclusion, empowerment, and active participation of young people and children in social development initiatives. Act as a voice for youth and children within the NGO-Coalition. Advocate for policies and programs supporting young people’s and children’s rights and social development at the UN and other relevant forums. Raise awareness about the importance of youth and children’s involvement in social development. Organize events, workshops, and forums to gather input and perspectives from young people and children. Build partnerships with other organizations, both within and outside the UN system, to promote the interests of youth and children
