This is a historic gathering after 30 years. Over  2000 Social Development Organisations (including NGOs, Indigenous Peoples, people with disabilities, people of African descent, youth representatives, youth-led organizations, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, academic institutions, representatives of workers and employers, and the private sector, etc) to connect, share, unite, and collaborate, advancing and amplifying advocacy efforts to shape an inclusive global social development agenda for equitable, shared prosperity on pressing social development issues within our communities

This provides a unique opportunity to Discuss current challenges and opportunities in social development, share best practices and innovative approaches to addressing social issues, collaborate on strategies to influence regional and global social development agendas and prepare for the upcoming sessions of the UN Second World Summit in Qatar from 4 to 6 November 2025.

The Consultative workshop will complement the outcome of the “Second World Social Summit” in Qatar, 4-Nov 2025. It aims to develop an advocacy document and link to international rallying campaigns demanding social protection for all and committing to Gender Equality by 2030. It will also host “Common Space” to shine a spotlight on the NGO’s achievements and the challenges they worked to solve, raise awareness of the current crisis worldwide, and engage more volunteers through grassroots and vulnerable groups.
